Worship services at 10:30 AM starting on February 5, 2012: The Session of the LaHave-New Dublin Pastoral Charge met on January 10th and took into consideration that since West Dublin United and West Side United Congregations are worshipping as one that the time of worship would be held at 10:30 AM each Sunday for the months of February, March, and April. The Session also agreed that beginning Sunday, May 5th the time of worship for the warmer summer months would be held each week at 10:00 AM (as was the preferred time of worship from the evaluations received). The members of Session invite your feed back and thoughts on these variations of worship times.
Annual Meeting for the Congregation of West Side United will be held on Sunday, February 5th, 2012. Worship at 10:30 AM followed by potluck lunch (finger foods preferred but if you wish to bring a hot dish they would be welcomed) and then the meeting. Annual reports will be available on January 29th.
The Annual Meeting of the Congregation of
Unit 1 & 2 will meet Feb. 6th, at the home of Chris McBain at 7 PM.
The Annual meeting of the Official Board of the LaHave New Dublin Pastoral Charge will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 8th, 2012 at 7:00 PM. Who are Members of the Official Board? Offering Plates to be located at the entrance to the Sanctuary: The Evaluations of the method in which weekly offering is collected were also reviewed at the recent meeting of the Session and 79% indicated support to continue to have the offering plates placed near the entrance rather than passed among the congregation during worship. The Session thanks all those who shared their opinions in the evaluations collected.
